Biography
Before founding ICO, Mahmoud served as the Head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department at Etisalat Misr, Egypt’s third-largest mobile operator. His extensive experience includes significant positions at several reputable law firms, including Ibrachy & Dermarkar Law Firm in Cairo.
Throughout his career, Mahmoud has developed a remarkable portfolio in advising and representing multinational companies, major airline operators, and sovereign entities in international commercial litigation.
Serious Results
Mahmoud has secured landmark victories, including a 1.2 billion EGP arbitration award for a major telecommunications operator. He successfully defended clients in disputes exceeding 400 million EGP and recovered land wrongfully seized from an ISP.
Additionally, he has cleared CEOs of major corporations in criminal cases brought by the Environment and Taxation Authorities. His track record includes winning multi-million EGP construction disputes and representing foreign embassies before the Court.
